My beliefs are more Republican than Democrat, though I tend to disagree with Republicans on a few
issues of personal choice (for obvious reasons). I 'm liberal enough to believe that you should be allowed to make a mistake and conservative enough to believe that you should suffer for that mistake.
I was a Ron Paul supporter in '08, and consider myself a bit of a libertarian (lower case l, not a party member). I 've been an Ayn Rand fan since I was 19 and while I have many different ideas from her now, her books are still an important influence on my thought.
