I'm looking for gay friends and possibly a relationship. I'm a non-smoker, don't do drugs and only
drink occasionally. I prefer men with facial hair and love long hair. Being hairy is a turn on too. I do like the cowboy, biker and trucker looks as you can see in my pictures.
I have lived so many places in the last decade because I have to go where the work is. I prefer staying at home listening to music (I'm an avid music lover!) or watching TV or a movie. Someday, I dream of finally settling down in a mountain cabin somewhere in the East Tennessee, West North Carolina or North Georgia mountains with a few stained glass windows, hardwood floors and that perfect kitchen clock/mantle clock with the warm wire gong that chimes every hour with a nice calming tick tock.
I used to love hiking in the Smoky Mountains. In the 90s, I used to do 100 to 300 trail miles a year hiking and camping. I feel much more at ease in the back country than in the city. I grew up on a 300 acre farm in Tennessee and miss going out in the woods to get away from everything.
I'm somewhat shy and have trouble meeting men; however, I do like to cuddle with a nice bear. I like to get to know someone first before getting too intimate. I go to the Bad Dog Bar and Grill and sometimes a certain local (straight) biker bar (I don't think they suspect I'm gay). I'm fairly healthy, hiv-, and try to get to the gym at least once a week. I'm still over my ideal weight but am working on fixing that.

due to a stroke 7 years ago, i spend much of my days in my wheelchair.
i have lost full use of my left arm and partial use of my left leg. after that i survived 3 bouts of throat and mouth cancer, followed by lung surgery, losing half of the lower lobe of my right lung. however, all of this still has not diminished my love for life and love. i guess my goal here is to find a loving and caring son for a long term partnership... we all have our little imperfections, so lets give each other a chance and lets try things out.

A garden and a few fruit/nut trees and a few chickens. Living as self sufficiently as possible, having outside work to do to stay healthy and in shape and being outdoors.
