When I was rather young I remember my Uncle who served in WW2. The most I remember was his uniform, the smell of it & him & how proud he use to be getting dressed ( I would watch) & then to walk in the parade each year, well, thats the only time we would ever see him. Lucky for me thou, as he allways camped the nights he visited in my bed,, God I love ANZAC DAY, such good memories..
