General Description
I farm two quarters in the Enid, Oklahoma area that have been in my family for over 100 years. These farms sit within the region known as the Red Beds, named for its tight red clay soils. I split my time between my home in California and my home on the farm. Since I’m not onsite full-time, I don’t raise animals. For the past 15 years, I’ve been certified organic through CCOF and have enjoyed learning the technical requirements, laws, and regulations of the program. I graduated from Oklahoma State University originally planning to combine a seasonal tax practice with farming. However, I spent 33 years in federal law enforcement before retiring in 2019.
